How
do I know that my donation is used properly?
- In the Global Fellowship Int'l Office we receive gov't approved financial audits
from each of the National Boards with whom we work. For instance, the
Global Fellowship board in Sri Lanka submits to us every year a certified audit,
conducted by a reputable, gov't approved independent accounting firm in Sri
Lanka. These audits are available for review in our offices.
- The Asia Director for Global Fellowship, who is Asian and resides in India,
travels frequently to all Asian Global Fellowship sites (including Sri Lanka )
to review the work and the use of funds.
- The Int'l Office sends representatives at least every two years to "double
verify" what the Asian Director has reported. In areas of the world where we
have no area director, the Int'l Office does the verification of the use of
funds by personal visit and audit.
The use
of donations is taken very seriously at Global Fellowship where great care is
taken to insure that every donation goes quickly and completely to the field for
which it was given. We want you to give you a 100% guarantee
that you funds are being used properly.
When the credit card
option is used, the credit card companies deduct a small percentage, between 2.9
- 3.9%. this fee is deducted before the funds are sent on to Global
Fellowship.
