The History of Global Fellowship

Africa '86

In 1986, Don and Kathy left private business and headed to Liberia, West Africa. There they assisted local Liberian evangelists and church planters. Don and Kathy were moved by the overwhelming need for support of indigenous ministries internationally.

In 1989, after much prayer, Global Fellowship was founded in a home office as a leap of faith. Global Fellowship's first national missionary was Susanta Patra in India.

Global Fellowship raises financial, technical, and prayer support to assist national ministries in any way we can.  For those who are willing, Global Fellowship organizes short-term teams to provide personal encouragement to the workers in the field.

A step of faith in 1989 has produced great fruit by the power of the Holy Spirit. Please consider stepping out in faith with us and watch God bless.
