As we embrace the Christmas season, it's a time to reflect on the profound impact of the Gospel and the regions where its light is yet to shine. Our mission takes us to Bangladesh, a place deeply in need of the message of hope.
In Bangladesh, a staggering 99% of the population, totaling 170,392,000 souls, remains unreached by the Gospel. The existing Christian community is less than 0.4%, highlighting the urgent need for outreach. But bringing the Gospel to Bangladesh isn't without its challenges - cultural, linguistic barriers, and resistance are common hurdles.
Yet, there is hope.
This Christmas, we introduce you to "Gospel for Bangladesh," led by Alvin Bowl. This dedicated ministry, supported by 27 local church planters, is making strides in this challenging terrain. Alvin and his mother, Anne, recognize the effectiveness of using locals who understand the language, culture, and community dynamics to share the Word of God.
Your heart and generosity can make a real impact:
A monthly donation of $100 supports a church planter's work and provides a Christmas bonus as a token of appreciation.
A gift of $1,200 sustains a church planter for a year, enabling them to touch more lives.
With $4,800, you can fund an entire team of four church planters, multiplying the outreach.
Our goal this Christmas season is to raise $35,100, ensuring ongoing support for all 27 church planters throughout the year. Together, we can brighten the "Light in Bangladesh," bringing Christ's love to those who have yet to hear it.
As we celebrate the birth of our Savior, let's join hands to be a beacon of light and hope for others. Together, we can make sure the "Light in Bangladesh" shines even brighter, dispelling darkness and touching countless hearts with Christ's eternal love.
