Our approach to fulfilling the Great Commission begins with contextualized church planting and disciple-making. At Global Fellowship, we are unwavering in our dedication to church planting, recognizing it as the most effective means of introducing the Gospel to every community. By staying laser-focused on this task, we ensure that our efforts are not only consistent but also impactful. We believe that every community, regardless of its location or the challenges it faces, needs to have access to the Gospel.
Understanding the significant barriers foreign missionaries often encounter, such as language, culture, and integration into the community, Global Fellowship initiated a groundbreaking shift over 30 years ago. We began partnering with local church planters, who are inherently integrated into their communities and possess an unparalleled ability to spread the Gospel effectively. The effectiveness of the church planting is enhanced by leveraging the cultural insight, language proficiency, and personal testimonies of these local planters. Our vision is a local church and Gospel presence in every community, achieved through our unwavering support for local church planters.
Our commitment extends specifically to unreached regions—areas where less than 2% of the population is Christian. Currently operating in 38 countries, our ministries are dedicated to ensuring that the Gospel is accessible within 30 minutes of everyone, especially in locations where access to the Gospel is severely limited or non-existent. Global Fellowship's dedication to church planting, empowerment of local leadership, and focus on unreached regions are not just strategies—they are a declaration of our commitment to see the Great Commission fulfilled.
OUR THREE PILLARS
Our goal is to elevate the voice of our local leaders and to develop more localized and local leadership and support structures.
The starting point is sooner for a local church-planter than for a foreign missionary. The work is more effective as they know how to contextualize the Gospel to their own people, and most of them are equipped with their own personal testimony about how they met God in the very country they are currently trying to make Him known. Global Fellowship wants to see a local church and a local Gospel witness in every community; and we believe this begins by partnering with local church-planters.
