We support decision-making at the “most local” level. We trust local leaders and the local church to make decisions they believe are best to advance the gospel.
Healthy missionaries are most effective.
We prioritize care for all of our members.
1. Personal: Including spiritual, mental, physical, emotional, and financial well-being.
2. Community: Focusing on family, relational, and organizational health.
A standout quality of our leadership is our commitment to treating our staff as intelligent individuals with sound judgment rooted in Christ. It is our belief that, when given guidance and ownership, our staff will respond in a way that is both adaptive to and honoring our common goal.
This quality allows us to move away from traditional, policy-based codes of conduct and toward a mutual embrace of the principle behind Christ-centered conduct. It is for this reason that we have no written policies to which our staff must comply. Our desire is not that our team is confined to the letter of the rule but instead to the spirit of the rule that can adapt and grow, as does our organization. In this, it is our hope to cultivate a culture of accountability and sound judgment through a process of discernment and well-balanced decision-making.
